SlideSnap Core Tune-Up

The majority of issues that arise with our projector based SlideSnaps ( Pro, X1, Lite ) stem from an over-accumulation of dust and grime on the internal mechanisms. Slides introduce dust little by little which collects on the greased / lubricated surfaces, ultimately interfering with electrical contacts and restricting movement of moving parts.

It is a good idea to have the projector taken apart and professionally cleaned / re-lubricated on a regular basis to help prevent job-stopping mechanical issues and promote overall longevity.

The ideal frequency depends on usage patterns but annually or every 75,000 cycles are a good baseline.

This tune up covers just the projector core of your unit. If you would like your entire unit gone over ( control panel, backlight, camera hardware etc., consider a full refurbishment )

Use the original box if you still have it, otherwise a sturdy box with about 2″ of space all around will do. Be sure to protect the projector from drops.
